Home = life
I grew up in a house that my grandfather — a printer — built in the early 1900s in Highland Park, California, out of river rock and cut granite. It’s quite odd, a bit medieval, but gorgeous, with a chapel — which we recently restored — and a dungeon. Which I grew to realize was sort of a metaphor for human existence — below, you have the dungeon; above, the chapel. It was beautiful to grow up around the product of my grandfather’s creativity — you’re sort of instructed, you know?

James and Jackson Browne announced today that their US tour has been rescheduled to begin in July 2021. Please see the tour page for the full list of new dates.
“(Jackson and I/James and I) want to thank all those who have graciously held onto their tickets; we appreciate your continued patience as we navigate these unchartered waters. We didn’t want to have to cancel this tour that we’ve been waiting so long to perform together, so we’ve been working to get these dates rescheduled to a time period when the U.S. is reopened and safe to gather for a concert. Of course we will be keeping a close eye and abide with all health and safety protocols throughout each venue and state. May 19, 2020: James Taylor and His All-Star Band, with special guest Jackson Browne, have announced their US Tour dates have been rescheduled to 2021 as per the schedule below. The James Taylor and Band Tanglewood concert scheduled for July 4, 2020 has also been rescheduled to July 4, 2021. James’s June 21, 2020 concert at Fenway Park with Brandi Carlile and Shawn Colvin has also been rescheduled and the new 2021 date will be announced following Major League Baseball’s announcement of their full schedule.
Previously purchased tickets will be honored for all of the rescheduled dates and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. Should you be unable to attend the rescheduled date, please reach out to your point of purchase for information on refunds. The patience of all ticket holders has been appreciated through these uncertain and challenging times.
There will be an announcement coming shortly regarding James Taylor’s postponed Canadian tour with Bonnie Raitt.
“Disappointing as it is to have to reschedule these shows, our first tour together, James/Jackson and I look forward with intense excitement to next spring when, hopefully, we’ll finally get to set this thing in motion. We were hoping to reschedule the tour a bit sooner but the experts we consulted have advised waiting for a full year.
