Jackson Browne Announces Additional Solo Acoustic Show In Fish Creek, Wi To Benefit The Tambourine Collaboratory — New Studio Album Due This Fall

Singer-Songwriter Jackson Browne announces an additional benefit show to his U.S. solo acoustic tour for this July and August. The added show, on June 30th in Fish Creek, WI will benefit the Tambourine Collaboratory — an organization whose mission is to provide year-round opportunities for collaboration within the local creative community.

2014 will also see two new Jackson Browne releases. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Late For The Sky, originally released in September 1974, the album has been re-mastered and will be re-released on June 24, on CD in a new eco-digipak, and on all digital platforms, including Mastered for iTunes, and HD Tracks for the first time, in a partnership between Rhino Records and Inside Recordings. A 180gram vinyl (standard 33/13) release will be available later this summer. Also, this fall, Jacksonwill release a new studio album, the thirteenth of his career.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007. Beyond his music, he is known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education. He’s a co-founder of the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and Nukefree.org.
