Singer songwriter Jackson Browne has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007, Browne has written and recorded songs such as “These Days”, “The Pretender”, “Running on Empty”. Known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, this concert will benefit the Cayucos Land Conservancy. Browne will be accompanied by longtime band mates and vocalists Alethea Mills and Chavonne Stewart, and the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz.

Established in 1999 as a non-profit land trust, the Cayucos Land Conservancy (CLC) is committed to the enduring preservation of the rural greenbelt that surrounds the coastal town of Cayucos, California. CLC is on a multi-million dollar fundraising campaign to purchase more of the hillside parcel/lots outside the urban service line and to help fund the purchase of the southern boundary’s Chevron Property which includes “Dog Beach.” For more information, please visit cayucoslandconservancy.org.
