Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne announces 2016 U.S. summer tour dates, beginning in June thru August with his band.

February 24, 2016, Los Angeles, CA: Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne announces 2016 U.S. summer tour dates, beginning in June thru August with his band. Advance tickets, VIP Packages, and GuacFund Benefit Seats are available beginning next week on March 2nd at www.JacksonBrowne.com.

Accompanying Jackson on the road this summer are longtime band mates Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (Vocals) and the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel).

“This is my ideal band, with some of my favorite players, whose combined gifts provide the musical foundation and emotional underpinnings of my new songs,” says Jackson. “The interplay between Val McCallum and Greg Leisz – the effortlessness of their chemistry is a gift really, that just dropped into my lap. Two Jackson Browne Concerts Rescheduled

RICHMOND, VA. – The Jackson Browne​ solo acoustic concert scheduled for Saturday, January 23 at Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Arts Center​, which was postponed due to weather, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 31. All tickets previously purchased will be honored on the new date.

ASHEVILLE, NC – The Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic show scheduled for Friday January 22, which was postponed due to weather, has been rescheduled for Saturday May 28, 2016 at 8:00 pm. All valid tickets for show will be accepted at the door. Tickets are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com, 1-800-745-3000 or at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium box office. Singer-Songwriter Jackson Browne announces solo acoustic tour dates beginning January 8, 2016. Playing guitar and piano, Jackson will perform songs from his entire body of work, with varying set lists each night.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007. Beyond his music, Browne is known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education. He’s a co-founder of the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and Nukefree.org.

The 7th annual 30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL- set for January 15, 16 and 17, 2016 – has announced the initial line-up for the 2016 celebration of singers and songs. The festival, held in venues along scenic Highway 30A in Florida’s South Walton County, will feature headline performances from esteemed artists Jackson Browne, Grace Potter, Shovels & Rope and Wine, Women & Song featuring Matraca Berg, Suzy Bogguss & Gretchen Peters.

Headliner Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
