Jackson Browne To Perform A Solo Acoustic Benefit For The Folk Music Center Museum In Claremont, CA At Bridges Auditorum On October 5, 2016

Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will perform a Benefit Concert for the Folk Music Center Museum in Claremont, CA on October 5, 2016 as part of his Solo Acoustic Fall Tour. The concert at Bridges Auditorium on the Pomona College Campus in Claremont, CA goes on sale Friday, August 26 at 10:00 AM (local). Tickets are available at the venue box office, online at www.pomona.edu/bridges or may also be purchased in person at the Folk Music Center in Claremont, CA.

News Folk Benefit

In 1976, the Folk Music Center Museum was incorporated as a non-profit educational, cultural corporation. The Folk Music Center Museum is dedicated to the advancement, promotion and preservation of traditional, contemporary, and international folk music, instruments and folk culture. FMCM presents concerts, dances, workshops, museum exhibits, demonstrations, and educational programs for persons of all ages in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Services provided by the Museum include: -instrument loans to teachers, schools, libraries, galleries and museums -field trips for all ages: preschool, grade school, home school, seniors and tour groups -The Claremont Folk Festival, an annual celebration of music and the arts -open mic, a chance for musicians of all styles, levels, ages and abilities to perform.
