Singer songwriter Jackson Browne announces a 2nd benefit concert at Pechanga Resort & Casino on Sunday, February 25 at 7 PM, after Saturday’s show sold out. The benefit concert, Honoring Quiltman, will be held in the Pechanga Theater. Tickets go on sale January 18 at 3 PM (Pacific Time) through Ticketmaster.com

Accompanying Jackson are longtime band mates Bob Glaub (bass), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Val McCallum (guitar), Alethea Mills (Vocals), Chavonne Stewart (vocals) and Jeff Young (keyboards). Also performing is John Trudell’s BAD DOG with Joel Rafael.
The benefit concert, Honoring Quiltman, celebrates Quiltman Sahme, a traditional American Indian singer and drummer from Simnasho in Warm Springs, Oregon. In August of 2017, Quiltman lost his family home in the Warm Springs Reservation wildfire.
In the early 1980s, Quiltman began performing with American Indian activist, speaker and poet John Trudell. Trudell was a leader of the Occupation of Alcatraz in the late 1960s and Chairman of the American Indian Movement from 1973-79. He passed away in December 2015. Quiltman continues to sing with the original band members of John Trudell’s BAD DOG. John Trudell’s BAD DOG includes Mark Shark (guitars), Ricky Eckstein (bass & keyboards), Billy Watts (guitars), Debra Dobkin (percussion), Quiltman and his son Teewhanee Sahme (traditional vocals) along with Joel Rafael (vocals).

Singer Songwriter Jackson Browne announces a benefit concert at the Warner Grand Theatre located in San Pedro, CA on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 8:00 PM. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 15 at 10 AM (Pacific Time) through Ticketmaster.com.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the non-profit organization Grand Vision Foundation, and its youth music education program, Meet the Music. Meet the Music partners with underserved Harbor Area elementary schools to provide music education in schools where it would not otherwise exist. Through inspirational live world music concerts and professional instruction, Meet the Music introduces music education to over 1800 students, teaching them to read music, play their first instrument and discover that they are music-makers!

Grand Vision Foundation is a community arts organization, founded in 1996 to inspire and engage LA’s Harbor and South Bay community. In addition to its youth music education program, Grand Vision produces arts and cultural experiences at the Warner Grand Theatre, San Pedro’s art deco movie palace, and at the Grand Annex, a cabaret theater dedicated to presenting an eclectic mix of Americana, roots, jazz and world music artists in downtown San Pedro. Underlying Grand Vision’s efforts is the belief that local arts have the power to bridge boundaries and unite our community.

Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne announces Spring 2018 tour dates in Hawaii and on the East Coast with his full band. Following his recently announced Australia tour in March, Jackson Browne has added two Hawaiian dates in Honolulu, Oahu and Kahului, Maui in April, and a string of dates on the East Coast in May. Advance tickets are available beginning December 6 at 10 AM (local time), with general tickets available December 8 at 10 AM (local time).

Singer Songwriter Jackson Browne announces a benefit concert at the Grand Annex located in San Pedro, CA on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 7:30 PM. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 1 at 10 AM (Pacific Time) through the Grand Vision Box Office website at www.grandvision.org.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the non-profit organization ExposHer, Inc. ExposHer provides mentoring to inner city girls. The focus is to expose girls to life and culture that will be conducive to their development from girls to young women through various mentoring programs.

Our mission is to help change the lives of young girls by empowering them to reach their full potential by overcoming internal and external barriers in their lives,” says founder Chavonne Stewart. “We also want to help girls build a positive self-image, motivate them to take responsibility for their future, and coach them in understanding their value to themselves and their community.”
Joining Jackson Browne on December 17th are longtime band mates and backing vocalists Chavonne Stewart and Alethea Mills and multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz.
